How did you
gauge your body as an average on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being very low,
10 being very high) in terms of the following parameters during the day:-
Temperature Range:4-6
Density:3-5
Energy Level:3-5
Speed:5-6
What are your
main observations and/or experiences from the MB?
No MB today and I appreciated a rest but felt a bit sluggish.
What are your
main observations and/or experiences from the Manipulations?
My breath was weak for 1 and 2 - feeling too inactive - but tried to breath
deeper for 3 and 4. Talked to my partner about tricky things like putting
pressure on stomach, how much, where abouts etc. The topic of alignment
came up a lot - when there's a difference between what feels straight
and what is straight and what to do to the lying body to let them know
there is a difference without forcing anything.
What are your
main observations and/or experiences from the Ground Work?
Today's Bisoku speed was torturous as usual, I'm always surprised by how
physically challenging an exercise it is. Trying to develop a momentum
forward at slow speed is agony! The chest/hand exercise took me some time
to get used to but after experimenting with small and big distances from
the hand I was able to build a connection. I think it is more worthwhile
as a leader to start easily, not introducing challenges that may break
the connection because, frankly, it's demoralising! My main memory of
being blind is the sense of dependence, waiting for an instruction, the
complete passivity. Although there is intense activity in making decisions,
listening, feeling etc I remember the feeling of powerlessness knowing
others are watching me not being able to watch anything. In an environment
less safe than this, it would be paralysing, well, ok inhibiting.
What are your
main observations and/or experiences of the whole day?
I have been thinking more about leading than following, how to stimulate
your partner, make them think about the decisions they habitually make,
allow them an entrance point to try something new.
