How did you
gauge your body as an average on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being very low,
10 being very high) in terms of the following parameters during the day:-
Temperature Range: 4
Density:3
Energy Level: 6
Speed: 7
What are your
main observations and/or experiences from the MB?
I enjoyed MB again this morning finding my speed to be rising with each
session. The work seems a little less physically demanding, because I
have got my mind around the heat and movements. Now my focus for MB is
to detail the movment being more precise and working harder to isolate
the various points in my body according to the line of movement.
What are your
main observations and/or experiences from the Manipulations?
Harder is not always better. To be more specific about where you want
the penetration to go and entering the body at a deeper level without
having to be forcefull. I think this is why I pulled a muscle in my back.
What are your
main observations and/or experiences from the Ground Work?
Our first excercise this af'vo (the bush is afffecting my vocab) was bisoku.
We move between speeds, boats and people as water. It was good to feed
off others movements and to move as one body of water rather than many
different ones. Feeling this weather in my body. My faviourite thing today
was in a group of three using a blindfold and two pieces of string manipulate
the blind person by tying the string to their fingers. This gave me such
an open sense of space and fluidity. I felt like a bird or suspended in
water. It was sen-bloddy sational.
What are your
main observations and/or experiences of the whole day?
Well, when we first got here Tess explained that Hamilton Downs was a
neutral space meaning that no one owned the land. I have found this to
impact the guests that come to talk to us or the artists who come to work
with us. Straight away people feel comfortable in the space just as I
did. I think this definatly promotes creativity.
