How did you
gauge your body as an average on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being very low,
10 being very high) in terms of the following parameters during the day:-
Temperature Range: 7-9
Density:4-6
Energy Level: 5-7
Speed: 5-6
What are your
main observations and/or experiences from the MB?
Heavier work in the lower body today has brought up an increased density
in the legs just after MB. It quickly dissapates. The thread running from
the top of the head is emphasised, it is something I often forget. Mild
heat comes up there is not so much from without. Jumping in the four directions
is becoming harder. The strength is deminishing and the body knowledge
and technique is not there.
What are your
main observations and/or experiences from the Manipulations?
What are your
main observations and/or experiences from the Ground Work?
What are your
main observations and/or experiences of the whole day?
We went to the fishing hole with Peter Latz. The younger folk played.
The games are familiar. I play a little. I like to be quiet. There is
mutiny with the blindfolds. There is tiredness, there is youthfulness,
there are different expectations of outcomes. There is a confrontation.
I've never enjoyed confrontation, but I have learnt to endure to allow
energies to be dissapated. We eventually refocus on the walk, somehow
there is no connection between walk and the workshop. I don't understand
this, and I don't feel that there is open communication because it is
diffused through indirect communication - logbooks etc. There is a great
sensation to encounter a body of water once more. I feel like I could
swim but to look at the water is enough. Very satisfying. Lisa trips and
injures her ankle. There is a great fuss. Eventually we decide through
a series of eye contacts and brief conversation, to carry Lisa back to
the vehicle. We do, but it is difficult and my back is tender the following
day. I am reminded of the extreme and almost farcical exploits of pioneers
and explorers. I respct them but feel that it is almost a matter of luck
than anything else that we now celebrate their achievements. Peter talks,
we walk. We skate across the surface of this landscape and slowly there
is a tiny accumulation of knowledge but more so an enormous respect. I
am only a visitor and any romantic thoughts of etching out a place for
myself, remains only that...romantic.
