How did you
gauge your body as an average on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being very low,
10 being very high) in terms of the following parameters during the day:-
Temperature Range:6
Density:8
Energy Level:6
Speed:7
What are your
main observations and/or experiences from the MB?
Really low in energy today. Very slow.
What are your
main observations and/or experiences from the Manipulations?
Tired. Sore. But good.
What are your
main observations and/or experiences from the Ground Work?
The ground work today was fascinating. Worked with finding correspondances
with four elements, a shadow, a tree, a rock formation and a grass and
then locating them in different parts of the body. At first separately
and then simultaneously. It's wild, exhausting, fabulous to experience
my body so differently, to disorganise it to the point when it loses some
of it's memories. We followed with dream boats, I found a beautiful boat
shaped patch of sunlight and let myself float and my body dreamed. I find
word pulse extraordinary. The words trigger sensory memories that trigger
words, the flow takes care of itself, drifting in eddies and flows. Words
come back day after day but the patterns shift, they connect differently.
Such a lot of sadness surfaces. Boat. Float. Wave. Weave. Wash. Weep.
Heart. Hope. Heart. Break. Divide. Decide. Discect. Word. Flow. Heart.
Beat. Wing. Beat. Blood. Flow. Contain. Skin. I find the work totally
intruiging but it is so personal I wonder where it will take me as a performer.
I guess all knowledge settles somewhere and contributes.
What are your
main observations and/or experiences of the whole day?
Still tired. Slept in the river bed. Starlight. Walked to the top of the
ridge to the north during ground work and west for a bit to visit a sparkling
tree. I was late back for the work but it was fantastic to leave the confines
of our familiar workspace. I like the country to the north. The rocks
are rounded, volcanic, layered. Some petrude from the ground in jagged
sheets and others form flat expanses that are gradually flaking away.
They sound hollow when you tap them. The vegatation is quite dense in
places. The view from the top to the south and west over the valley plain
to the ridge is fantastic. You can see the track of the river lined by
the ghost gums.
