DE QUINCEY CO performance program in 2011 includes:

VISIONARIUM, a new piece in THE OPIUM CONFESSIONS series was developed at The University of Sydney with showings for invited audiences in April.

X-SPECIES, a performance by Tess de Quincey & Jim Denley as part of the BAT-HUMAN PROJECT, Cook & Phillip Park 29 April.

WEATHER MIND, an exhibition of De Quincey Co performances, photographs by Mayu Kanamori & Russell Emerson as part of Head On Festival, Kaleidoscope Gallery 5-31 May.

LINE IN LINE, a performance by Tess de Quincey with sound artist Jim Denley in connection with the opening of Kaldor family wing, Art Gallery NSW 21 May.

BUTOH ON SCREEN, a free DVD screening hosted by Butoh artist Tess de Quincey, Art Gallery NSW 9 July.

RESOUND, a performance by Tess de Quincey in response to Sue Pedley installation – Copper Ships, Tin Sheds Gallery, 3 September.

• NO COLD FEET our famous site-specific work to be remounted and presented at Cook & Phillip Park 4-16 October as part of the Art and About Sydney Festival.

THE WEATHER EXCHANGE 2011 PROGRAM includes:

REASONS TO BE GRATEFUL a fortnightly series of brief improvisations by Peter Fraser January to March at sites in and around Melbourne.

DANCE DIARIES 1 – Linda Luke’s short dance video work Dance Diaries 1 is screening as part of the New Work Old Tricks exhibition at Campbelltown Arts Centre. This video project involved working with teenager Kili ati Pahulu and reflecting on teenage homelessness and displacement in the community.

PLATFORM 2 presents improvised performance by visiting Bodyweather artist FRANK VAN DE VEN from Amsterdam, Tess de Quincey, Martin del Armo, Nicki Haywood,  musicians Jim Denley and Sam Pettigrew, Mayu Kanamori with Russell Emerson on live projected photography and Clytie Smith on lights at FraserStudios 5 March.

THIRTEEN by Linda Luke in collaboration with Vic McEwan reflecting on teenage homelessness will be presented in Wagga Wagga 5 March.

IMPRO-EXCHANGE, a series of two research laboratories and associated showings led by Tess de Quincey and Martin del Amo supported by Critical Path will take place at The Drill 12-14 May and 24-26 November – Expressions of Interest invited via Critical Path.

HINEMINI HAKA is an Ausdance NSW Residency by Victoria Hunt at Cleveland Street Theatre, Sydney in June to develop and create a new, short dance work.

LIGHTING THRESHOLDS by Victoria Hunt in collaboration with Clytie Smith is a Critical Path residency at The Drill, Sydney 5 – 29 July, to investigate the role of light as a dramaturgical tool.

PLATFORM 3 presents short works by a range of independent artists from Bodyweather and related disciplines curated by Linda Luke at Fraser Studios 27 August.

LIZARD a homage by Peter Fraser – for a Lace Monitor kept in a miserly glass case in a pet shop, and prompted by sense that the dry, skinny, soft-skinned, cautious, delicate, bony, stringy, inexpressive, catatonic creatures are his totem, venue to be announced, 30 October.

COPPER PROMISES final development phase of a major new work by Victoria Hunt at the Rex Cramphorn Studio, Department of Performance Studies, University of Sydney in December.
