Tess de Quincey and Tom Rivard are working with artists, sciences and lawyers to prepare a number of Earth Law related activities at Bundanon Trust’s Siteworks 2014.
Featuring a program of talks, presentations and performances alongside Siteworks Bioblitz program – a citizen science event, involving a flora and fauna audit of the Bundanon Property. ABC Science Show presenter, Robyn Williams, will host a number of conversations and presentations about bio-diversity and earth rights.
Performers Victoria Hunt and Peter Fraser will present ‘Mountain and Water’ in the natural setting of the Bundanon property on Saturday 27 September.
Mountain: In awakening the spirits within the mountain, I awaken my spirit, my ancestry and lineage, stretching from the terrestrial to the celestial and into the cosmos. In the Maori world, Whakapapa is a rationale used to define the origins of things, of people, of spirit. It’s what defines us.
Water: Tracing water through its different forms and states, from mist to precipitation, from evaporation to solidity, from expansion to contraction, pulling and pulled by the moon.
