a dialogue of dance and music

The two artists maintain an ongoing partnership in improvisation concerned with finding structures and resonances which reflect ‘the place and the moment’. Their collaboration started in the early 1990’s in the ancient dry bed of Lake Mungo, far western NSW. Exploring through music and dance, they sustain a focus on revealing each instant afresh; perceptions and readings of the dialogue have to be redefined each time, uncovering an exchange which is site specific, and in a larger and less immediate sense, continent specific. This is what they aim for.
